Product details of Benylin Chesty Coughs Original 150ml: Benylin Chesty Coughs Original can be used for fast and effective relief of chesty coughs and nasal congestion. Benylin Chesty Coughs Original is suitable for adults and children over the age of 2 years. This medicine is not suitable if you have closed angle glaucoma, if you have an enlarged prostate gland (prostatic hypertrophy), and children under the age of 6 years.
Directions for using Benylin Chesty Coughs Original 150ml: Adults: 10ml four times daily. Maximum 40ml daily Children 6-12 years: 5ml four times daily. Maximum 20ml daily
Warnings of using Benylin Chesty Coughs Original 150ml: May cause drowsiness. Avoid alcohol and in children under 6 years. Avoid use with MAOIs or within 14 days of ceasing treatment. Use with caution in the presence of moderate to severe hepatic or renal impairment. Not for use in narrow angle glaucoma or symptomatic prostatic hypertrophy. Not to be used in persistent coughs such as occurs with asthma, or where accompanied by excessive secretions, or during pregnancy unless directed by the doctor. Caution in hereditary sugar intolerance
