Product details of Benylin Dry Coughs Non-drowsy 150ml: Benylin Dry Coughs Non-drowsy can be used to relieve dry, irritating and unproductive coughs. Benylin Dry Coughs Non-drowsy is suitable for adults and children over the age of 12 years. This medicine is not suitable if you have chronic bronchitis, if you have taken a monoamine-oxidase inhibitor antidepressant (MAOI) in the last 14 days, if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, and children under the age of 12 years.
Directions for using Benylin Dry Coughs Non-drowsy 150ml: Adults: 10ml four times daily. Maximum 40ml daily Children 6-12 years: 5ml four times daily. Maximum 20ml daily
Warnings of using Benylin Dry Coughs Non-drowsy 150ml: Avoid use in children under 6 years. Not to be used by patients taking MAOIs or those who have taken them in the previous 14 days. Not for use in, or those at risk of, respiratory failure. Use with caution in moderate to severe hepatic impairment. Not to be used in persistent coughs such as occurs with asthma or when accompanied by excessive secretions unless directed by a doctor
