Product details of Buccastem M Tablets 3mg- 8: Buccastem M is used to treat the symptoms of nausea and vomiting, of previously diagnosed migraine. Buccastem is suitable for adults, including the elderly, and children over 12 years old. The tablets must not be swallowed but to be left in the mouth (preferably between the lips and gum) until it is completely dissolved. Adults and children over 12 should take 1 or 2 tablets twice a day. This medicine is not suitable for children under 12 years old. People with liver problems, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, diagnosed enlarged prostate gland, glaucoma or with known allergies to ingredients should avoid taking this medicine.
Directions for using Buccastem M Tablets 3mg- 8: Adults 18 years and over: One or two tablets twice daily. The tablets should be placed between the upper lip and gum to either side of the front teeth
Warnings of using Buccastem M Tablets 3mg- 8: Not recommended for children under 18 years. Do not chew or swallow the tablet. Not to be used by patients with impaired liver function, existing blood dyscrasias, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, prostatic hypertrophy, glaucoma or in pregnancy
Possible side effects of Buccastem M Tablets 3mg- 8: Buccastem M may cause drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, insomnia, agitation and mild skin rash. It could also cause local irritation to the gum and mouth.
