Product details of Colpermin Capsules 20: Colpermin is used to relieve the symptoms associated with irritable bowel syndrome, such as pain and spasm of the intestinal region. • Adults, the elderly and children over 15 should be given 1 or 2 capsules (depending on discomfort) to be swallowed whole 3 time a day for up to 1-2 weeks or 2-3 months if the symptoms are more persistent. • Not suitable for children under 15 years old. • Not suitable for individuals with peanut or soya allergies. Colpermin must not be taken immediately after food.
Directions for using Colpermin Capsules 20: Adults and children over 15 years: One or two capsules three times daily, according to discomfort, normally for one to two weeks, but up to two to three months. Do not take immediately after food
Warnings of using Colpermin Capsules 20: Not recommended for children under 15 years. Swallow whole to prevent local irritation of the mouth or oesophagus. The diagnosis of IBS should be confirmed by a doctor before taking an IBS treatment. Contains peanut oil so should not be taken by sufferers of peanut or soya allergy
Possible side effects of Colpermin Capsules 20: Colpermin may cause hart burn, irritation around the anus, and allergic reaction to menthol (although rare).
