Product details of Fybogel Mebeverine Sachets: Fybogel Mebeverine is used to treat spasms caused by irritable bowel syndrome. It is also used to relieve abdominal pains and discomfort, associated with other bowel dysfunction including constipation. • Adults and children over 12 should be given 1 sachet to be mixed in a glass of water and taken in the morning and evening, half an hour before meals. Another sachet can be taken before lunch if necessary. • Not suitable for children under 12. • Not suitable for individuals with intestinal obstruction, faecal impaction, megacolon or with allergies to peanut and soya. • To be mixed in and taken with sufficient water only.
Directions for using Fybogel Mebeverine Sachets: Adults and children over 12 years: Stir sachet contents in to a glass of cold water (about 150ml). One sachet morning and evening half an hour before meals. A third dose may be taken before the midday meal
Warnings of using Fybogel Mebeverine Sachets: Not recommended for children under 12 years. Avoid use in intestinal obstruction, faecal impaction and colonic atony such as senile megacolon. Do not take in the dry form - make sure mixed with sufficient water.
Possible side effects of Fybogel Mebeverine Sachets: Flatulence and bloating could be experienced during the first few days of taking Fybogel Mebeverine.
