Product details of Gaviscon Aniseed Liquid 600ml: Gaviscon Original Liquid is used to sooth and relieve the effects of heartburn and indigestion. Gaviscon Original Liquid is suitable for adults and children over 6 years old. Adults and children over 12 should take 10-20ml (2-4 tea spoonfuls) after each meal and at bedtime. Children aged 6-12 should take only 5-10ml (1-2 tea spoonfuls) after each meal and at bedtime. Gaviscon Original Liquid is not to be given to children aged 2-6 unless advised by a doctor. It is not for infants. Gaviscon Original Liquid contains sodium.

Warnings of using Gaviscon Aniseed Liquid 600ml: Consult doctor before use if on a low sodium diet. Calcium content needs to be considered for patients with hypercalcaemia, nephrocalcinosis and recurrent calcium-containing renal calculi. Not recommended for children under 12 except on medical advice. Patients with very low levels of gastric acid may experience reduced efficacy. Patients who do not experience symptom improvement within 7 days should seek medical advice
