Product details of Nicorette Patch 10mg - 7: Nicorette Patch can be used for fast and effective relief, of the withdrawal symptoms associated with quitting smoking. Nicorette Patch is suitable for adults and children over the age of 12 years. This medicine is not suitable if you are non-smokers, if you have chronic widespread skin disorders such as psoriasis, dermatitis or urticaria, and children under the age of 12 years.
Directions for using Nicorette Patch 10mg - 7: Adults: Stop smoking during treatment. Limit application to 16 hours a day. Apply one 15mg patch initially . In patients who successfully quit in 8 weeks, dose should be reduced to 10mg for 2 weeks then 5mg for a further 2 weeks. Adults who use NRT beyond 9 months should seek advice from a healthcare professional. Adolescents (12-18 years): As for adults, but duration of therapy should not exceed 12 weeks without consulting a health professional
Warnings of using Nicorette Patch 10mg - 7: Use with caution in GI disease, unstable cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus, uncontrolled hypertension, phaeochromocytoma and renal or hepatic impairment. Keep out of reach and sight of children
