When
ordering certain medicines you will be presented with a few very short
questions for each medicinal item that requires the pharmacists supervision
before being dispensed. The reason we ask you the same questions for each
medicine added to the shopping basket is because items are commonly purchased
by patients for the use by themselves and also for family members or friends.
The answers to the questions will be supervised by our pharmacist before items
are dispatched to ensure that the medicine is suitable for the person who is
going to be consuming it.
It
is very important that the answers to the questions are as accurate as possible..
If we are unsure of any suitability of the order we may contact you to amend
the order. It is important to note that we are also restricted by the Royal
Pharmaceutical Society of GB to limit the supply of certain medicines, and to
monitor the usage of certain medicines over a period of time to ensure patient
safety.
Clockwork
Pharmacy fully comply with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of GB’s guidelines
on internet pharmacy. The guidelines have been implemented to ensure that
patient safety is maintained at all times.
To
ensure patient safety all pharmacy orders are supervised by our fully qualified
pharmacists to ensure that the medicines are suitable for the patient they will
be consumed by. Our pharmacists reserve the right to ask further questions,
refuse medication or withhold orders until they are completely satisfied that
medication items are not being ordered excessively, or that items are not being
misused by patients.
