Product details of Pripsen Dual Dose Sachets Pack: Pripsen Piperazine Phosphate Powder is used to treat infestations of threadworms, and roundworms in the intestines. Pripsen Piperazine Phosphate Powder is an anthelmintics and it works by paralysing the worms, which makes it easier for the gut to excrete the worms out of the body. Adults and children over 6 should be given 1 sachet of powder taken in the morning. Children aged 1-6 should be given 1 level tea spoonful of powder taken in the morning. Children aged 3 months to 1 year should be given half a tea spoonful (level) of powder taken in the morning. The powder should be mixed in a glass of water or milk. Not suitable for children under 3 months old. Not suitable for individuals with kidney disease, history of epilepsy or had suffered from painful stomach aches. A second must then be taken after 14 days to prevent re-infestation. For treating roundworms, additional monthly doses should be taken for up to 3 months.
Directions for using Pripsen Dual Dose Sachets Pack: Adults and children over 6 years: One sachet at bedtime Children 1-6 years: one level 5ml spoonful of sachet contents in the morning. Mix powder with water or milk before taking. For threadworms, repeat the dose after 14 days. For roundworms, additional prophylactic doses may be given monthly for up to 3 months Children 3 months to 1 year: One level 2.5ml spoonful as above
Warnings of using Pripsen Dual Dose Sachets Pack: Do not take if you have kidney disease, a history of epilepsy or if suffering from painful stomach ache, colic or severe diarrhoea. For children under 10 years, only one dual dose should be given in any 28 day period without seeking medical advice
Possible side effects of Pripsen Dual Dose Sachets Pack: Diarrhoea, abdominal pain, vomiting, skin rash and dizziness could be experienced with Pripsen piperazine Phosphate Powder.
